What We Do

Four Kinds of Tree Work

Morgan County Tree Co. started in 2016 as a removal outfit: one bucket truck, one chipper, and Wes Hadley taking down storm-split silver maples and borer-killed ash around Jacksonville, Illinois in pieces, rigging set before the saw starts, the way a line-clearance crew works.

These days plenty of calls aren't about a whole tree. It's an old maple stump in the mowing line, deadwood in a bur oak over the garage, or a fencerow gone to redcedar and mulberry. Each job still starts with Wes's line-crew question: where's the tree, and what could it hit? That answer sets the rigging and the price.

So stump grinding, trimming and land clearing are real services with their own prices, not extras bolted onto a removal quote.
